Keep in mind, the theme of this piece was 'Twilight in Celestia's Style and in was drawn before the S2 finale, let alone S3. I am not going to redraw this with wings or straighter hair and I DO NOT appreciate that someone took this picture and coloured her hoofs in gold and reposted it.

I'm a 90s kid, My Little Pony was part of my childhood though I can't name any of them now. When I first saw pictures of Twilight I thought it was an anthro version of Stocking (from Panty and Stocking). It's the hair. I'm not the first to make this connection nor will I be the last. Either way I started watching an episode of Friendship is Magic thinking I wasn't going to enjoy it...famous last words.

So I was watching the first two episode of season 2 recently and wondered what Twilight would look like in Celestia's style.

But I liked the idea and the pony style is so wonderfully simple to reproduce. Thick bold lines and shapes and block colours. Just what a girl needs to work through an artblock.

So here we have Twilight Sparkle, all grown up and bedecked in her finery and Element of Harmony: Magic Tiara.

Oh and she's voiced by Tara Strong, aka Melody 8D
