Description
Peri and Paul from RJ Anderson's Faery Rebels series consisting of Knife, Rebel and Arrow.
This was inspired by a scene in Arrow I think where Peri (who was once a faery) flings herself into Paul's lap and pulls him into a kiss. I tried to capture their first kiss which was so wonderfully akward but I couldn't get the angle right so you can have this instead.
Sepia, everywhere sepia.
If you like faery and human interaction stories (though no where near as dark as Holly Black's Tithe) this is definitely a series for you. It doesn't focus on the romance, in fact, it goes on the subtle back burner while the protagonists keep the action rolling over. What I loved most about Peri and Paul's relationship was how you got to see glimpses of how it had grown through all three books even though the protagonist changed. There was a lot of room for the imagination to take over and fill in the gaps and I think that made it all the more intriguing and powerful.

Y'know, I've never had a solid concept in my mind of what Paul and Peri would look like, but after seeing this, I have to say this is perfect and exactly what they'd look like. I want to go re-read them now with this image in my head
